Royal design consists of a corner medallion pattern accompanied with marvelous khetai flowers. We have different views in the symbolic meaning of botteh according to the attitudes of art researchers. We can find this pattern in dress ornamentationand traditional gold weaving of thr people from the safavid era. It is also seen in miniature paintings if the time.
