LabGenius is an automatically operating nucleic acid test based IVD (in-vitro diagnostic) device developed to be used as a point-of care testing system. This sample-to-result device is designed for local clinics that are limited in both molecular genetic testing equipment and well-trained personnel. LabGenius facilitates magnetic-bead based nucleic acid extraction and thin-film thermal plate for thermocycling in a disposable unit to afford a real-time PCR testing system that is user-friendly and cost-effective.
