ReinPlatz Cosmetic, founded in 2012, has been working with the tradeKorea Matching Team for export since 2013. The Matching Team has been handling ReinPlatz’s export consultations, sample exhibitions, document translation/writing, and trade consultations for four years since 2013.

With the constant support of tradeKorea, ReinPlatz expanded its exporting target countries to the US, Japan, Malaysia, and Hong Kong and recently concluded a ten-year contract with one of the largest Chinese companies.

At 2015 COSMOPROF Asia in Hong Kong, ReinPlatz CEO (Lee Jae-yeon) met a Chinese buyer who showed great interest in ReinPlatz products and had a meeting at the exhibition. Although the buyer requested certificates, trademark rights, purchasing authority, import licenses, and product registrations after his return to China, ReinPlatz had no trade expert who could handle such trade affairs.

As liaison between the two parties, the tradeKorea Matching Team translated documents required for export and wrote all contractual clauses ReinPlatz needed in English so that the company did not suffer any losses stemming from the contract terms. ReinPlatz and the Chinese buyer amended the contract four times during a span of two months and finally signed the final contract.

Unlike most Korean manufacturers bearing all the expenses and responsibilities required for a sanitary license in China, the Chinese buyer who had confidence in ReinPlatz products said that he would pay 30% of the expenses and assist with all of the necessary procedures in China. As a result, the two parties agreed to cooperate with each other to acquire certificates as well as actual transactions.

The Chinese buyer promised to sell and distribute ReinPlatz products faithfully for the next ten years in the Chinese market. ReinPlatz is looking forward to working with the Chinese buyer as well.
