Funtions
A probe card is a consumable interface component used to inspect semicondictor water for defective chip. The probe card passes signals generated by a tester to the chip, and obtains the response from the chip and passes them to the tester. The difficulty lies in positioning up to 20,000 probes to touch exact position at exact height with tolerance of few microns. Also the signal passing to and from must maintain its intergrity, which is getting more difficult due to faster chips.
