Hello. My name is Pratik Khulbe and I run a manufacturing and export business from New Delhi, India. We sell beautiful hand embroidered stoles/fabrics/table covers/bedsheets/wall hangings/bags/jackets/cushion covers and various other items using traditional Indian hand embroidery. This is done in a traditional hand embroidery which uses running stitch named Kantha. This work is done on handwoven silk/cotton/chiffon fabrics. This intricate and exotic work is a source of income for the rural women in India who thus get a chance to show their creativity as well by producing beautiful patterns on fabrics. We have participated in many exhibitions in India and abroad where our products have been very popular and in great demand. We are currently supplying to premium shops in New Delhi such as Cottage Emporium which is the biggest government emporium of handicrafts and ethnic textiles in India. Our firm Greencrafts International has been making embroidery fabric products for several years and marketing them in India and abroad. These products are made using a running stitch called Kantha and is protected by by a geographical indication used by WTO. We produce home furnishings such as cushion covers, wall hangings, bedcovers, quilts etc and fashion accessories such as stoles/ embroidery fabric and batik cloth. Our products are completely handmade using a running stitch and each contain beautiful imagery and motifs. In addition to embroidery products we also work with rural producers to make handicraft goods such as wooden crafts , metal crafts, sea shell crafts, leather crafts. These include items such as wooden horses, animal figures made of metal, leather purses and wallets. These are beautifully handmade and showcase fine craftmanship. We at Greencrafts International are members of EPCH ( Export Promotion Council for Handicrafts ) in New Delhi.
