A bag-in-box (BIB) is a type of container for the storage and transportation of liquids, which is made from multi-layered polyethylene films with a small tap at one end of the bag so as to pump out its contents with ease. BIBs are recognized as a superb alternative to aluminum cans, plastic bottles and glass containers.
They have been widely used across the United States, Great Britain, Germany, France and other advanced countries since their mass production by Fujimori Industrial Co. Ltd. in Japan in 1964. Their demands have steadily increased especially in environmentally conscious nations.
Successful in manufacturing BIBs in 1992, Mokyang received an official license from the Korea Institute for Health and Social Affairs (KIHASA), offering a wide variety of BIBs to many companies in the food, medical and pharmaceutical industries.
