Long Lifetime
The UV lamp using current filament electrodes has the short lifetime of less than 10,000 hours due to the inevitable degradation of the electrode. While, the UV lamp of EI Lighting uses specially-designed electrodes instead of filament electrodes and as a result, has improved the reliability and lifetime of the UV lamp.

Each filament-type UV lamp must have its own ballast. The UV lamp of EI Lighting can operate several lamps using one ballast.
