Product Information
When fluid flows, the rotor mounted inside the STF-turbine flowmeter rotates proportionally to the flow rate. "Pickup coil" detects these rotations and outputs them as an electrical signal. The electrical flow signal entered to the flow transmitter part is converted into a flow signal, indicating the flow rate and the total flow. And the flow transmitter output the appropriate signal for flow rate & flow total.
Turbine flow meter is widely applied to industrial fields, such as measuring nonconductive fluids and measuring for batch control, pharmaceutical & oil industry.
※ Please check the piping or fluids for foreign substances before installation of flow meter.
※ It’s recommended that the strainer be installed at the front place of the turbine flowmeter.
※ Install the STF so that the flow direction arrow on meter's body matches the flow direction of the fluid.
※ Avoid the places with excessive vibrations or water-hammer shocks.
