Bioten is a company established in August 2011 for the purpose of commercialization through technology transfer
and joint research on “viral infection treatment” by KRIBB(Korea Research Institute of Bioscience and Biotechnology).
Through joint research with the KRIBB, a government-funded research institute, the absorption rate and persistence
of curcumin in the body were improved by about 400 to 1,000 times, and Tencumin S Plus and G Plus were developed
based on this.
In particular, Tencumin S Plus's COVID-19 animal experiment showed more than 30% therapeutic effect in severe
infections, and preclinical studies showed excellent immune recovery ability and inflammatory factor reduction, so
we are preparing for IND approval after completing the toxicity test for anticancer-related clinical approval.
Based on the results of these studies, sales of health foods such as inflammation and immunity increased dramatically, achieving sales of more than 10 billion won and a surplus of more than 1 billion won in 2022.
In addition to the existing business of manufacturing and selling health food and supplementary feed, Bioten aims to develop and commercialize human and animal medicines.
